Ceylon Tea was promoted at a business networking lunch on 25 June 2026 at the Chinese Swimming Club in Singapore. The event, themed "Future Ready: A Focus on AI, Health and Science," brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, and industry leaders to exchange insights on emerging trends in technology, healthcare, and innovation.
As part of the luncheon, the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Singapore offered premium Ceylon Tea to the guests, allowing them to experience the distinctive flavour, aroma, and quality of Sri Lankan tea. The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Singapore, Senarath Dissanayake and Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Ms. Bhagya Abeykoon, engaged with the guests throughout the event highlighting the exceptional quality, rich heritage, and unique characteristics of Sri Lanka's world-renowned tea while underscoring its importance as one of the country's flagship export products.
The tea promotion formed part of the High Commission's continuing efforts to enhance the visibility of Sri Lankan products in Singapore and to increase awareness of the exceptional quality and heritage of Pure Ceylon Tea among the local business community.
