Sri Lanka’s food and beverage sector was showcased at the Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) Food & Beverage Exhibition held at the Singapore Expo from 21–24 April 2026. The FHA is Asia’s leading international food and beverage trade exhibition and one of the most significant platforms for global industry engagement. The 2026 edition is particularly noteworthy, bringing together more than 2,700 exhibitors from over 50 countries and attracting around 80,000 trade visitors.
The opening ceremony, held on 21 April 2026, was graced by Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry, as the Guest of Honour. The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Singapore and the Minister Counsellor (Commercial) attended the event and visited the Sri Lankan booths. The participating Sri Lankan companies were Stassen Exports (Pvt) Ltd, and Aussie Oats (Pvt) Ltd. These companies presented a diverse portfolio of products, reinforcing Sri Lanka’s reputation for quality and innovation in the food and beverage sector.
The High Commission of Sri Lanka also promoted Ceylon Tea and facilitated the promotion of innovative beverages combining sweet potato powder with Ceylon tea, Ceylon Earl Grey Sweet Potato Latte and Ceylon Black Tea Sweet Potato Latte which attracted interest from visitors.
